My fascination with theme / amusement parks came at a early age. I remember going with my family to our local amusement park, Lagoon in Utah. My parents loved coasters, but I was always a little hesitant. When I got older, I was unstoppable. I loved the aesthetics of it all. The smells, the sounds, and the lights. The park was always so clean and manicured. I also was drawn to anything with tracks, or a course. I loved the parallel lines. I was determined that when I grew up, I would work at the park and drive the steam locomotive trains. My determination came through and I did end up working at the park, and then into management and finally when I left, in the human resources role, a total of about 12 years. I did everything at the park, including ride/coaster operator, trains, water park, lifeguard, the zoo. During our off seasons, while in management, we were often sent off to explore other parks and see the inside operations and workings of some major parks. It was always so much fun. I grew to love everything to do with parks and can appreciate all that goes into running, planning, and day to day operations.

I wanted to meet other like-minded people. I met Rob in early 2009, and he had the idea to start a club. I wanted in. It has been fun! The trips we've taken are great, and only getting better as we grow. A great group of people! Looking forward to many more years to come as well. I encourage anyone who is curious to explore our website. Come to a meeting. Meet the group. And even join us on a trip. As a social advocate of our club, please feel free to contact me. If you have any questions, suggestions, or need a outlet for communicating to our group.
